Interns, PASS Program
Posted by JEVS Human Services on November 23, 2015
JEVS Human Services offers the PASS Program (Preparing for, Achieving and Sustaining Success) at both George Washington and Furness High Schools to its seniors. JEVS is looking for internships at non-profit organizations for these students. Students will work 7 hours per week and are paid minimum wage by JEVS. Students can work after school or on weekends for 6 weeks beginning end of January/beginning of February. Employers need to fill out a worksite agreement. We hope you will consider helping a student in what is most likely their first job. All of the students are below the Federal Poverty Level guidelines so they certainly can use the financial assistance and the majority of them are college-bound. We thank you in advance for your consideration. Please contact Rhonda.cohen@jevs.org for further information and interest.
