Posted by on November 17, 2006
City Year runs two Saturday leadership development and service learning programs for middle school and high school Students. We are currently looking for interns to serve as team leaders for the Young Heroes program (middle school students) and the City Heroes Program (high school aged youth).
We need interns to help lead the Young Heroes and City Heroes through six months of community service and leadership development. The position is unpaid and requires the intern to be committed to three Saturdays per month for the Young Heroes program or at least two weekends a month (including one overnight retreat) for the City Heroes program from December until May. This is a great opportunity for volunteers to interact with and lead youth, facilitate community service projects, develop great leadership skills, and make a difference in the lives of young people while strengthening your r?sum?.
