Position Title: Office of Talent Intern

Position Narrative: This is a part‐time position (20 hours/week) that offers a hands-on learning experience for a dedicated college student interested in the Human Resources and/or Recruitment fields to assist the Office of Talent Search Associates on multiple projects.

This is an unpaid, part-time position and does not include medical benefits or paid time off.

Interns working for the Office of Talent will be exposed to various aspects of recruitment and human resources in a large urban business environment. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Search Associates with developing recruitment strategy
• Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials
• Data entry and data analysis utilizing MS Excel and Google Documents
• Correspondence with applicant and pending candidates
• Reviewing & approving/disapproving applications based on stated requirements
• Attending hiring sessions, assisting with the administrative elements (assembling files, copying, etc.)
• Attending off-site presentations, assist with administrative elements
• Occasional coordination with inter-departmental partners to assure smooth flow of information
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Specific Qualifications:
• Knowledge of effective recruitment strategy is preferred
• Knowledge of Human Resources systems preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer service oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
• Skilled at Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Sheets
• Must Present: an original, valid Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check 2.) an original, valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Check 3.) an original, valid PA FBI Criminal Check and 4.) a completed approved physical examination form. These documents are valid for one year after the date of issuance. Location of Job: 440 N Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130 (Broad St & Spring Garden St)
*Occasional travel required
