Intern for the BugMobile

The Pennsylvania Integrated Pest Management (PA IPM) Program is seeking to hire an intern to assist with The BugMobile! – a traveling, interactive display designed to educate the public on the subjects of pest (insects and other critters, weeds, and diseases) biology and management and the reduction of pesticide misuse.
The position will begin as soon as a qualified candidate is available. Job duties will include: helping the IPM Program staff with BugMobile event preperations, traveling to events throughout PA (valid driver’s license required), set-up of display, training of volunteers and staffing of the display, and various office tasks such as organization of supplies and materials. Candidate will also have the opportunity to assist with the annual "IPM for Teachers" course and other workshops as needed. Hours will vary, but will average 20 hours per week and the pay is $8 per hour.
