Family members are often the primary influence on the decisions people make about shopping, preparing, and eating food. Yet, nutrition education programs often segregates participants into age-related groups. This workshop, conducted by Matt Kaplan, Lynn James, and Nancy Ellen Kiernan, will highlight some strategies for nutrition educators to work with entire families and facilitate intergenerational communication and cooperation when developing/delivering nutrition education outreach programs.
To register, please contact panen@pahunger.org or call 717-233-1791. Please register by September 12. Free to members of PA NEN. $30 to non-members.
