11th Annual INTERFAITH WALK for PEACE and RECONCILIATION
Side by Side on Sacred Ground: Celebrating Transformations
SUNDAY, APRIL 27, 2014
3 – 6 pm
A “Walking Dialogue” among Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Taoists, Baha’i, Agnostics and others
Programs at all three sites:
Music, Prayer, Poetry & Wisdom (times are estimates)
Please arrive at 2:30 pm to enter the men’s and women’s sections of the Mosque
Please bring a head covering (hats and scarves are suitable)
3:00 pm Al Aqsa Mosque, 1501 Germantown Avenue 19122
4:30 pm (Outdoor Stop) St Francis Inn, 2441 Kensington Avenue 19125
5:30 pm West Kensington Ministry, 2140 N. Hancock Street 19122
6:00 pm Refreshments/Fellowship at final stop West Kensington Ministry
Free parking is available at Al Aqsa (1501 Germantown Avenue)
A bus will accompany the Peace Walk for those unable to walk the distance.
A bus will bring people back to the parking lot at Al Aqsa at the end.
