TeenSHARP is looking for a college instructor to teach Intellectual Heritage course
TeenSHARP is on a mission to prepare talented youth of color to attend and to thrive at our nation’s top colleges. To ensure its students’ success the program is launching the Intellectual Heritage course series. The courses will take place on Saturdays from 10am to 12:30 pm during the months of September through December. The courses are expected to be designed and instructed as a college course. Instructor will work with 20-25 high school students in class. The courses should include readings by African American and Latino thinkers and help students better understand society as well as their place within it. We are looking for PhD students and candidates as well as PhD holders to teach the course.
