Intake Processor Specialist
Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc., a dynamic nonprofit, is currently seeking a full-time Intake Processor Specialist within its Family and Housing Services division. This position works closely with the QA Department & Program Director and is primarily responsible for greeting, screening and assisting with the completion of client intake forms. Other duties include gather any necessary information to assess client needs and to ensure that they are receiving appropriate services. Additionally the Intake Processor Specialist will be responsible for inputting and monitoring all data in order to ensure that services rendered are documented into the appropriate databases within the Family & Housing Services Division. Following the National Industry Standards of Homeownership and HUD guidelines this position has access to sensitive Congreso
client information and is expected to handle such information with integrity and professionalism.

Essential Responsibilities
Provide initial client orientation and conduct Comprehensive Assessments for initial client and other family members
Assess the urgency of clients’ needs and situation to ensure all information is accurate and complete
Handle client phone calls (incoming/outgoing) who are seeking assistance with mortgage, rental, and homeowner services
Prepare mailings and send foreclosure intervention packets to clients and agencies
Accurately document all actions and communication into the client management systems (CounselorMax and Unidad)
Create and maintain client files for the department
Responsible for daily entry of client enrollment, dismissal, demographics, and program indicators in UNIDAD
Charged with developing reports that reflect the total number served for the week, month, quarter and/or year and submitting them to the Program Director for review
Responsible for auditing data and all files/records and ensure that they are organized
Provide other administrative support functions for housing counselors
Maintains program data records according to program guidelines
Provides technical assistance support to housing counselors
Provide services using Congreso’s Primary Client Model (PCM™)
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Certification
Organized with the ability to complete work efficiently and have impeccable attention to detail
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
