Instructor, Philadelphia Futures
Posted by on September 03, 2012
We’re currently looking for an instructor for our after school program this fall and are still looking for individuals who may be interested.
I’ve attached the syllabus from last year’s class for your reference. The instructor has given us permission to use or modify it and all of the associated lesson plans for the course. You would certainly be welcome to propose any changes or develop your own syllabus to support the writing class. (If the syllabus is not attached click or paste in the URL on http://goo.gl/4ONhl)
Each class would have approximately 15 students and we offer 3 classes per week. We would like to offer the classes on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 – 5:15 pm but we can be flexible on the days the classes are made available. Overall, it’s a 15 week course and would begin in September (after Labor Day) and end with final presentations in mid-December. All classes are held at the Temple University Center City Campus at 15th and Market Streets.
The salary range is generally between $45 – $60 per hour depending on experience.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Charmayne Thompson
