Upstate Institute at Colgate University will host three day discussion of Youth Philanthropy
July 15-17, 2009
The Upstate Institute at Colgate University will provide an opportunity for primary, secondary and college educators to discover and discuss youth and student philanthropy programs at a conference scheduled for July 15-17, 2009 at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. The conference will provide a route to sharing best practices as well as encouraging educational institutions in the region to develop curricula concerning philanthropy and civic engagement. Thanks to funding from the Frederick and Margaret L. Weyerhaeuser Foundation, there is no fee to attend the conference. In addition to all programming, on campus housing in a dormitory is included for the duration of the conference, as are all meals and transportation for conference activities.
