Institute on Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) Campus Centers – Mar 11

Applications are now open for AAC&U’s 2022 Institute on Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) Campus Centers! The 2022 Institute on TRHT Campus Centers will be held virtually from Tuesday, June 21, to Friday, June 24. Don’t miss the opportunity to advance your campus efforts to dismantle racial hierarchies and build equitable communities.

The Institute on TRHT Campus Centers is designed to help campus teams identify evidence-based strategies that support their vision of what their communities will look, feel, and be like when the belief in a hierarchy of human value no longer exists. Campus teams will establish strategic goals that align with both their vision and the TRHT Framework, identify steps for achieving those goals, and develop plans for evaluation, communications, engagement, and sustainability.

During the Institute, campus teams will:

  • Participate in and design Rx Racial Healing® Circles
  • Develop a comprehensive action plan to implement at your institution and within your community
  • Prepare to facilitate racial healing activities on your campus and in your community
  • Examine current realities of race relations in your community and the local history that has led to them
  • Learn to pinpoint critical levers for change and to engage key stakeholders

Teams from any regionally accredited two- or four-year institution that are interested in learning more about the , have an interest in hosting a at their institution, or are currently serving as a host institution are invited to apply.
