Institute on General Education and Assessment
June 4–8, 2016
Boston University
Boston, Massachusetts
Apply through February 12, 2016
The Institute on General Education and Assessment provides campus teams with opportunities to refine and advance general education programs and their assessment. Teams will explore intentional, well-defined, and meaningfully assessed models of general education; processes of redesign; and the implementation of highly effective practices aligned with the LEAP Essential Learning Outcomes.
Drawing from what is learned over the course of the Institute, each team will develop an action plan for continuing the team’s work upon returning to campus. Action plans address strategies for next steps, relevant stakeholders to engage, and a timeline for achieving goals.
