Inquirer LIVE: A More Perfect Union’s “Scars and Stripes” – Apr 13
Posted by Inquirer LIVE on April 12, 2022
Philadelphia has given rise to numerous potent and divisive symbols of white America. One such example, a flag that symbolizes freedom to some, signals oppression to so many others.
Join us for “A More Perfect Union” on Inquirer LIVE on Wednesday, April 13, at 4:15 p.m. to discuss the second chapter of the series. Contributing Editor Errin Haines of The 19th* talks with one of the chapter’s writers, historian Martha S. Jones. They welcome some of the artists whose work is featured to discuss their interpretations of the symbols that were created in Philadelphia.
Participate in the Q&A directly following the talk.
