Innovative Workforce Models in Health Care

Time: 9 am – 3 pm
The Center for the Health Professions and the Center for Care Innovations invite you to a workshop exploring emerging team-based models of care that utilize medical assistants in expanded roles. We will discuss different practice models, business case, legal scope of practice, change management strategies, and training initiatives associated with these new models. Speakers from UCSF, CCI, and innovative practice sites will explore this topic from different angles, leaving time for structured discussion and networking. A catered lunch will be provided.
