National Science Foundation Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) Program
Eligibility: Public schools, private schools and charter schools in the United States.
Amount: Average amount is $35,000.
Purpose of Grant: To help ensure the breadth and depth of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce. ITEST supports research studies to address questions about how to find solutions. It also supports the development, implementation, testing and scale-up of implementation models. A large variety of possible approaches to improving the STEM workforce and building students’ capacity to participate in it may be implemented and studied.

Deadline: Letters of intent are due January 19, 2010; proposals are due February 12, 2010.
