Information Services Associate, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society

The Information Services Associate provides administrative and project support for the PHS Information Services Center, including specific responsibilities within the areas of customer service, data entry, and information analysis. This position requires extensive knowledge of PHS membership, events, and programs and processing of these transactions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide daily constituent data entry in Raiser’s Edge including gifts, membership transactions, event registrations, and volunteer information.
• Produce queries, exports or reports as needed to verify data entry and assist in reconciliation, and perform data imports using Import-O-Matic software.
• Maintain the highest quality and integrity of data in all of PHS’s established databases. Recognize and correct inaccuracies and inconsistencies in data. Monitor and edit database records and information as necessary.
• Provide administrative support to the Information Services Center including word processing, photocopying, filing, file maintenance, phone coverage, etc. Work on PHS activities, special projects, and other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Contribute to positive constituent relations through professional, friendly and responsive telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions with all PHS constituents.
• Work collaboratively with PHS staff to ensure their understanding of data contained in PHS databases and assist users with questions about usage of PHS databases.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer, verbal and organizational skills, and be detail-oriented. Experience in a non-profit environment and knowledge of Raiser’s Edge (or other fundraising database software) and Microsoft Office is preferred. Must be committed to the mission of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
