Information and Networking for West Philly grassroots groups

An Invitation To:
Philadelphia Area Grassroots and Activist Oriented Organizations, Groups, Individuals, Institutions, etc. and interested persons you are invited to participate in an
“Information, Networking, and Support” Session and Open House on Sat. April
29. 2006 4-6 PM at The Mantis School located at 4522 Baltimore Ave. (University City area)
This is a monthly session being held to help get to know and/or become more involved with some of the various grassroots groups, organizations, activist, and advocates who work and service (in and around Philly) to improve the lives of folks in our communities/neighborhoods, citywide, in addition to helping to keep all concerned abreast and more aware of many of the socio-political issues that affect us all, as well as related incentives/campaigns, community meetings, events, etc. often going on.
Bring your flyers, business cards, and other related materials about your group/organization, upcoming activities, events, business, and institutions.
Each group/person will be allowed to address the participants briefly about the history and present work (projects, programs, initiatives) that they are involved in.

We suggest you pre-register to assure time for you to present your information.
Also: Each month elected officials will be requested to provide the community at large with reports, updates, and other information to assure better accountability.
