Rutgers University—Camden is proud to host an information session and service fair on the college application process for DACA or otherwise undocumented students and families.
Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10 am to 2 pm (doors open at 9:30am) at Rutgers University—Camden, Campus Center located on Third and Penn Streets in Camden, NJ. Here are directions to campus.
The information session will discuss:
· The college admissions process and how to complete the college application
· Financial Aid and consideration for school based scholarships
· Understanding your legal options [followed by individual sessions for those interested – sign up for these sessions will be on first come first served basis]
Each session will be presented by experts in each area in both English and in Spanish. There is no need for participants to register in advance for the event.
In addition, we are hoping to host a service fair for students and their families from 12-2 during lunch and would love for you to staff a table for this fair if you are interested.
Can you please respond by Thursday, June 1st by 12 noon to this message (email [email protected]) with the following:
1. Let us know that you will promote this event to your members, constituents, friends and colleagues;
2. Let us know if you would like to staff a table at the service fair and provide participants information about your organization or services.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support of our Camden and surrounding community. We look forward to bringing this program to you and the community.
