Monday, October 13th is Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
In Philadelphia, an Indigenous led non-profit, IPD Philly, will be holding a cultural festival in Shackamaxon Park (1301 N Beach Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125) from 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. to celebrate and honor this holiday. There will be rappers, poets, art, dancers, clothing, jewelry, food and more! This event will celebrate the people’s of Lenapehoking, Turtle Island, and Abya Yala.
