Cities of Inequality or Opportunity?
Jobs created since the end of the Great Recession pay nearly a quarter less than the jobs that were lost during the recession, contributing to widening inequality according to a new report released by the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Committed to reversing this trend, over 30 mayors have formed a Cities of Opportunity Task Force to advance local and federal efforts to increase wages, invest in early childhood education, and other initiatives.
