In My Mind: A LGBT People of Color Mental Health Summit, October 24 (9 am to 4 pm) at Rutgers University, Newark Campus, where along with the discussions, “America’s Psychologist” Dr. Jeffery Gardere is scheduled to be our keynote speaker
We are excited to invite you to join us at “In My Mind”, the first-ever summit looking specifically at mental health issues in LGBTQ people of color. This ground-breaking gathering will take place on Friday, October 24th from 9am to 4pm on the campus of Rutgers University, Newark (175 University Ave, Conklin Hall #100, Newark, NJ) and will feature innovative workshops, panel discussions, networking, and a keynote speaker. Sessions will range in themes from HIV and faith to transgender health, sports, and “Coming Out.” We are also pleased to announce that our co-hosts, Rutgers University, will present a graduate student symposium on cutting-edge research underway.

Organizations from the New York City and northern New Jersey area have been invited to share information from booths and table displays about what they do, especially, the mental health services they offer.
