Implementing the Common Core State Standards
Posted by on February 06, 2012
The Center on Education Policy (CEP) has released its new report, Year Two of Implementing the Common Core State Standards: States’ Progress and Challenges, that examines states’ efforts to transition to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in math and English language arts.
The report is the second in a series by CEP about state implementation of the CCSS. It is based on a survey of state education agencies conducted from October through December of 2011 to get updated information on state strategies, policies and challenges in the second year of transition to the CCSS.
