Impacts of the Federal Reconciliation Package (H.R. 1) on Nonprofits

H.R. 1, also known as the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, was signed into law on July 4, 2025. Thanks to the PA Association of Nonprofit Organization’s colleagues in Minnesota for putting together a summary of the impacts of H.R. 1 on nonprofits, including Medicaid, SNAP, immigration, health care, philanthropy, cuts to state funding, and what comes next.
The federal reconciliation package (H.R. 1) will have very significant impacts on the nonprofits sector and the communities nonprofits support.
