Women unite to fund high-impact grants
Impact100 Philadelphia, a new philanthropic movement which engages individual women in a grantmaking process, will award its first grant on June 1, 2009.
Impact100 Philadelphia unites the individual donations of at least one hundred women to collectively fund a high-impact grant of $100,000 or more to a charitable initiative in the region. Focus areas for the grant include Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Family, and Health & Wellness. Organizations with operating budgets below $5 million are eligible.
The grant amount will be announced on January 5th. Letters of Inquiry must be submitted by February 2nd, and those invited to submit a full proposal must do so by March 6th. For complete information, including eligibility requirements and funding priorities, go here.
