Report highlights impact of UC cuts

The Philadelphia Unemployment Project has released a report on the impact of the cutoff of Emergency Unemployment Compensation in the tri-state area. The report says that over a half million residents will exhaust their unemployment benefits by the end of 2014 in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

The emergency benefits program expired last December 28th.

The study titled Impact of the End of Emergency Unemployment Compensation Program on Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware Unemployed Workers, includes stories of the impact of the cutoffs to individual families in the tri-state area.
