Immigrant Heritage Month 2022 Events
Posted by City of Philadelphia on June 7, 2022
Philadelphia is pleased to launch our sixth year of celebrating Immigrant Heritage Month!
Immigrant Heritage Month is an opportunity for all residents to explore their heritage and celebrate the shared diversity that forms the unique story of America. It’s also a chance to highlight the important role of immigration in the U.S. and recognize the many contributions immigrants have made to our country.
In Philadelphia, we recognize that our diversity is our strength and that immigrants and their children are making cultural, economic, and political contributions every day. This year, we’re emphasizing stories that follow the theme of “Looking Back to Move Forward.”
We invite you to check out our Immigrant Heritage Month page and see the full calendar of fantastic virtual and in person events you and other partners are hosting throughout the month!
