Illustrating Youth Experiences During the Pandemic and Other Resources
Posted by Pulitzer Center on June 1, 2021
In a year defined by change and uncertainty, 29 middle school students from The San Francisco School explored creative expression in the context of COVID-19. Inspired by Report Card, an illustrated series created by Mission Local journalists and young people from underserved communities in San Francisco, students crafted deeply honest narratives with original drawings to capture their own underreported stories as youth navigating the pandemic. Take a look at these students’ powerful multimedia vignettes here!
