iFunction honors middle school students’ STEM achievements
Through in-class mentoring, project-based learning, science fairs, and after-school programs, iPraxis volunteers (Scienteers) help to increase knowledge and understanding of STEM subjects and the opportunities they provide.
iFunction is iPraxis’ annual award celebration to be held at the University of the Sciences to honor Philadelphia middle school students who placed in their school-based, city-wide, and tri-state science fairs.
In recognition of their accomplishments, students will be given an embroidered lab coat and special iPraxis medal. At this year’s event, we expect more than 250 guests, including 100 students and their families, with special leadership representation from the business, academic, and Philadelphia-based nonprofit communities.
Event Date: June 6th, 2018 | 6-8pm
University of the Sciences | McNeil Science & Technology Center | Astra Zeneca Auditorium, STC 145
723 South 43rd Street (Corner of 43rd & Woodland Avenue)| Philadelphia PA 19104
The event is free.
