Apply to be Your Campus’ Idealist.org Ambassador!

The Idealist.org Campus Ambassador Program will involve seven students from Philadelphia area colleges and universities who will participate in a paid internship for the 2003-04 academic year. Ambassadors will help make nonprofit and socially responsible careers more visible and accessible to their fellow students, and support the broader campus-based programs of Idealist.org. Specific tasks will include event planning, public speaking, general outreach on campus, and contact with the local nonprofit community. Ambassadors will work on their individual campuses and support city-wide events including:

? Idealist.org Philadelphia Nonprofit Career Fair on April 1st at Saint Joseph’s University – http://www.idealist.org/fairs.html
? COOL Idealist National Student Conference (Details TBA)

Idealist Ambassadors receive a stipend of $500 per semester. A small program budget will be available as needed. Ambassadors are encouraged to tap into existing resources on campus to further support the work.

Ambassadors are required to attend two meetings in Center City with the other Ambassadors each semester (the meeting dates will be determined after the selection process is completed), submit reports on all events, and check in weekly with the Program Coordinator by phone or email.
