Hybrid Event: International Men’s Day 2025 – Nov 19

In recognition of International Men’s Day (IMD), DBHIDS’ Engaging Males of Color initiative invites ALL to a meaningful gathering dedicated to supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing.
Join us on Wednesday, November 19 from 10am – 2pm at the Behavioral Health Training and Education Network (BHTEN) on 520 Delaware Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
This event will feature a dynamic keynote speaker and three interactive breakout sessions designed to educate, empower, and equip participants with tools for healing and resilience:
- Supporting Men’s Mental Health – Exploring approaches to emotional wellness and support.
- Fatherhood and Mental Wellbeing – Understanding the emotional landscape of fatherhood and building balance through connection and care.
- Creating a Crisis Response Plan (Introduction to Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP Session) – Developing personalized strategies for maintaining wellness and managing crisis moments.
Together, we will affirm men’s experiences, strengthen community, and advance the shared vision of hope, healing, and Zero Male Suicide.
