On behalf of the Penn Center for Public Health and Penn Libraries we would like to invite you to join us for a talk with former Director of the American Libraries Association, Tracie Hall! This event titled “Access Matters: A conversation with Tracie Hall on the public health impacts of book censorship” will be a hybrid event, held in Kislak Pavillion in the Van Pelt Library (3420 Walnut Street, Philadelphia PA, 19104) and on Zoom. Tracie Hall is a national leader in the discussion about book censorship and the former director of the American Library Association. In this event, we will explore the detrimental effects of book censorship on public health. Don’t forget October is Health Literacy month. Mark your calendars and be part of this crucial discussion!
