Philadelphia Cares presents
Hunger 101, 3/10, 6:30-8:30pm
At the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank,
302 W. Berks Street
This interactive workshop will give participants a sense of the difficulties facing families who struggle to meet this basic need. Jennifer Drew, from the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank and Abby Youngblood from the Food Stamp Advocacy Program of the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger and PHENND, will speak about their many efforts, from food stamp advocacy to stocking grassroots food cupboards. You’ll leave this session equipped with the knowledge and tools to be part of the fight against hunger.
