Human Rights Film Festival

Just wanted to let you know that there will be a Human Rights Film Festival at Temple University in two weeks. All events will begin at 7:00 pm, take place in Tuttleman 105 (corner of 13th and Montgomery Aves – atttached to Paley Library) and are FREE. Please pass this along to your friends and colleagues.
Tuesday, 6 April
“The Pinochet Case” with a panel discussion afterwards with Rosemary Barbera (SSA) and Roberto Castillo, Professor and Chair of the Spanish Department at Haverford College.
Wednesday, 7 April
Seta Extraviada, Missing Young Woman with a Panel discussion afterwards with Rosario Espinal, Professor of Sociology and Director of the Latin American and Latino Studies Program, and Arthur Schmidt, Professor of History at Temple.
Thursday, 8 April
Winning against AIDS and other short films connecting AIDS and human rights with a panel discussion afterwards with Clara Haignere, Professor of Public Health, TU; Larry Hochendoner, Executive Director of Philadelphia AIDS Consortium; Alex Otieno, Assistant Professor of Community Health and Ph.D. Candidate, TU.
