Immediate Supervisor: Executive Director
Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director this position provides Human Resources support for the organization. This position must have in-depth knowledge of HR Project Management and implementation, employment law and employee relations, union relations, policy development, performance management and recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of five years Human Resources experience.
- Proven success of formal project management, recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
- Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
- Must be familiar with HRIS system application.
- Ability to think independently and contribute to solutions
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and proficient in Microsoft and other Software applications.
- Solution driven with a proven ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Must have outstanding planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor others to execute projects.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet deadlines.
