How To Obtain 501(c)(3) Tax- Exemption and Keep It is the title of a popular workshop led by Ari Merretazon that provides assistance in applying for non-profit status for an organization.
Participants will learn to understand and complete IRS Form 1023, along with all supporting organizational documents and attachments, for a definitive ruling as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization.
This is a project-based course and participants are expected to work on applying for non-profit tax-exemption for their organization during the class.
This course is for representatives of community and faith-based organizations incorporated or unincorporated.
The fee for the 8-hour course is $84. The workshops are held at the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Hagan Hall Amphitheater, and run from February 5th to February 26th from 6:30-8:30pm.
