How to Collaborate Without Losing Your Identity

NFF offers advanced budgeting workshop
The Nonprofit Finance Fund is offering workshops such as How to Collaborate Without Losing Your Identity (or Your Job) on Thursday, October 14th, and will discuss some of the common benefits of collaboration, common myths about nonprofit mergers and why they are different from for-profit mergers, and what factors do nonprofits need to consider in assessing mergers or other forms of collaborative opportunities.
Managing in a Changing Economy on Thursday, November 11th, will cover topics such as assessing organizational preparedness, evaluating risk exposure and tolerance, identifying and quantifying options, and communicating financial data to funders as well as cash flow planning, access to credit, program profitability and scenario planning.
The cost for each workshop is $50 and they will be held at United Way, 1709 Benjamin Franklin Blvd. in Philadelphia from 1:30-4:30pm.
