The Committee of 70 and Philly Documenters hosted a “How City Council Works” training to clarify City Council’s agenda and legislation process.
The Committee of 70 — a nonpartisan civic leadership organization —works to advance representative, ethical and effective government in Philadelphia through citizen engagement and public policy advocacy. Philly Documenters trains, pays, and empowers community members to attend public meetings and take notes to increase civic participation and government transparency.
