Host sites sought for free senior health workshops
Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) is seeking locations to host a series of free workshops aimed at helping adults age 60 and older better manage chronic health conditions.
The Help Yourself to Health series consists of six 2.5 hour sessions addressing how to better manage symptoms; decrease stress, fatigue, frustration and pain; and increase self-esteem, fitness and healthy eating. Host sites are asked to provide space and promote the workshops to their constituents. PCA will provide trained leaders and all materials. The workshops are funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, and there is no cost to the host site.
To learn more, or to become a host site, contact Diane Brown by phone 215-765-9000 ext. 5119 or by email [email protected], or visit the workshop website.
