Get free GIS spatial analysis done for your organization!

Inspired by the Google Summer of Code, Azavea’s Summer of Maps is a program that offers fellowships to student GIS analysts to perform geospatial data analysis for non-profit organizations. Azavea will match up a few non-profit organizations that have spatial analysis needs with talented students of GIS to implement projects over a three-month period during the summer of 2013.

Each student will receive a $5,000 stipend, generously sponsored by Esri, the Tri-College Consortium (Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, and Swarthmore College), as well as Azavea.

Are you a non-profit organization with some great geographic data and analysis ideas? Are you a student looking for a challenging summer experience?  For more information, to apply, and the 2013 schedule, please visit:http://www.summerofmaps.com.  Organization application process closes on February 10, so hurry up!
