HOPE worldwide MLK Day Grants
Deadline: October 1
All grants requests must focus on fire prevention or natural disaster preparedness education, involve at least two community partners, include reflection or other activities to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and occur in significant part on or near Jan. 20, 2014. The grant ranges will be: $10,000 (600 or more volunteers projected); $7,500 (450 or more volunteers projected); $5,000 (301 or more volunteers projected); $2,500 (151 to 300 volunteers projected); and $1,000 (50 to 150 volunteers projected). Interested applicants are encouraged to submit an intent to apply message by Friday, September 13 and to attend a budget planning / informational webinar on Tuesday, September 17.
