Hope in Motion 5K Run/Walk and Community Resource Fair – Apr 12

Posted by Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia on April 1, 2025

Please join us for our upcoming Hope in Motion 5K Run/Walk and Community Resource Fair on Saturday, April 12, starting at 8:00 AM, whether as a runner, walker, volunteer, tabler at the Community Resource Fair after the event, or simply as a friend coming out to support us.

Thanks to the support of Councilman Curtis Jones, Jr., the Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime through the National Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators, and Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice, this event is completely FREE. Registration is free, participants get free t-shirts, and finishers get free medals. The event is even being timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Company. We are not fundraising. This is an event about bringing community together and moving together in solidarity.

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Register to Run/Walk/Roll: Sign up for FREE and bring your friends, family, students, and colleagues! **All ages are welcome!**
  • Volunteer With UsHelp with event logistics, cheer stations, water stations, and more. We need your support!
  • Table at the Community Resource Fair: Sign up to represent your organization and share resources with community members during the post-race Community Resource Fair. (You must bring your own table and chairs. Selling merchandise is not permitted, but you are welcome to provide giveaways.)
  • Spread the Word: Please share this event to raise awareness and encourage participation! (If you’re connected to any running groups, please share with them!)

Location: Centennial 5K Loop Trailhead, West Fairmount Park (In front of the Please Touch Museum), 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131

If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to @Nicole Mahia (cc’ed), our amazing Community Engagement Manager who is overseeing this.
