Funds available for homeless vets’ reintegration
The US Dept. of Labor’s Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program is offering $5 million in grants to provide approximately 3,000 homeless veterans with job training and other services to help them succeed in civilian careers.
HVRP is the only federal program that focuses exclusively on the employment of homeless veterans. Awards will range from a minimum of $100,000 to a maximum of $300,000 for urban grants and to a maximum of $200,000 for non-urban grants.
