Adopting and Demonstrating the Adaptation of Prevention Techniques for Persons at Highest Risk of Acquiring or Transmitting Human Immunodeficiency Virus (ADAPT 2)

Secretary?s Forecast Summary RFA-PS-07-004 CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Adopting and Demonstrating the Adaptation of Prevention Techniques for Persons at Highest Risk of Acquiring or Transmitting Human Immunodeficiency Virus (ADAPT 2) (UR6).? Approximately $1,000,000 will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund approximately four awards. The purpose of the program is to conduct research in the United States to determine the efficacy of adapted evidence-based behavioral interventions (EBIs) for new populations at high risk for acquiring or transmitting HIV.
