Highlights of Global Youth Service Day 2021

Posted by Youth Service America on May 4, 2021

100 days ago, after the Inauguration and MLK Day of Service, we reflected: “Now, more than ever, our shared civic events – including National Days of Service – and shared civic rituals are important to repairing and rebuilding our shared civic life. These two events provide an opportunity to begin the reconciliation and healing work that is needed in the months and years ahead. We know there is much work to do to address the “cascading crises of our era”, but we also know that hope, love, unity, and light – especially of young people – will see us build a better and brighter future together.”

100 days later, as we mark the 100th day of the Biden Administration and celebrate everyone who participated in last weekend’s Global Youth Service Day, we can confirm that the young people of America and the world sure came through on building that better and brighter future! See some of the highlights of the 33rd Annual Global Youth Service Day and add your story & impact if you haven’t already.
