Lutheran Children and Family Service in Southeast Pennsylvania seeks an energetic, compassionate Program Assistant to mentor High School students at Philadelphia’s George Washington High School’s BOOST (Best-of Out-Of-School-Time) program. Under the supervision of the BOOST Site Coordinator, the Program Assistant is responsible for recruiting and engaging youth in strengths-based programming that provides the supports needed for each youth to succeed.

The Program Assistant will work with the Site Coordinator to recruit and engage youth, developing and running an array of youth clubs that build on the interest and strenghts of the students and lead to career and college exploration and workforce development.

The hours are 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Lutheran Children and Family Service (LCFS) is a non-profit human services organization dedicated to protecting and empowering vulnerable children, youth, and families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.
