High-Impact STEM Education Conference – June 9-10, 2016 – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm – Denver, CO
Registration Deadline May 25, 2016
SENCER (Science Education for New Civic Engagements and Responsibilities) and Campus Compact of the Mountain West are partnering with the Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning at the University of Denver to host a conference focused on advancing STEM education through high-impact practices (e.g. undergraduate research and community engagement) connected to compelling civic issues. In addition, the conference will explore indigenous science and ways of knowing through all of the tracks. We welcome faculty from across the disciplines to engage in discussions throughout the conference on the intersections of undergraduate research, STEM-focused community engagement, sustainability across the disciplines, and STEM partnerships in the liberal arts.
