Workshop discusses impact of grief and loss on children, teens
The Center for Grieving Children, Teens and Families will hold a workshop on Helping Children with Grief and Loss on Thursday, April 19th from 4pm to 6:30pm. The discussion will look at how grief and loss impacts growth, development and performance of children/teens. How do they grieve? How can we support them effectively? Appropriate interventions will be identified.
This program is for social workers, counselors, nurses, chaplains, teachers and others who work with young people.
