Salary: $14.50/hour – variable hours

Description:
Solutions for Progress, a progressive public technology company located in Philadelphia is seeking Help Desk Staff to join our team. Help Desk staff will provide support to our online service, The Benefit Bank (TBB).

TBB assists low and moderate income households in maximizing their tax credits and obtaining public benefits. TBB offers counselor-assisted services through a network of social service agencies, community-based organizations and faith communities.

The Help Desk provides assistance to The Benefit Bank sites and counselors on all TBB supported applications.

*Answer incoming questions via phone and email
*Troubleshoot and determine source of problems, and advise on appropriate action
*Serve as liaison between counselors and appropriate department to resolve issues
*Provide recommendations on system development
*Other duties as assigned

We are offering temporary positions for tax season (mid-Dec through mid-April).

Additional Qualifications:
*Ability to learn and support software applications
*Excellent written and verbal skills
*Attention to detail and ability to resolve issues in a time manner
*Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
*Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
*Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide range of projects
*Maintains friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and accessibility
