Help Build an Earthship-Style Greenhouse at Norris Square Neighborhood Project
Norris Square Neighborhood Project recently broke ground on an earthship-style greenhouse and is scheduling volunteer groups (18+) to help out on the project. If you are interested in volunteering, email volunteer@myneighborhoodproject.org for more information. Weekdays and weekend volunteer times are available. Come have snacks and learn about sustainable architecture in a unique setting.
Norris Square Neighborhood Project – a Latino youth, arts & gardening organization is building an Earthship-Style Greenhouse in Norris Square (by the York-Dauphin El Stop). We’ll be holding Greenhouse Raising Days over the course of November and December during the week (Wednesdays/Thursdays) and alternating Saturdays.
This is a brief 1 minute video of what our greenhouse is going to look like when it is done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ssiw8qwF6C0
