Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program Funds Access to Health Services
Deadline: November 1, 2002
A collaborative venture between the American Academy of Pediatrics ( http://www.aap.org/ ) and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau ( http://www.mchb.hrsa.gov/ ), the Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program (HTPCP) awards federal grants to support family-centered, community-based health initiatives that improve the health status of mothers, infants, children, and adolescents by increasing their access to health services.
Any public or private entity, including community- and faith-based organizations and Indian tribes or tribal organizations, is eligible to apply. Eligible applicants must have both direct fiduciary and administrative responsibility over the project.
Through HTPCP, grantees will receive up to $50,000 in funding per year for five years. Successful applicants must demonstrate that they can meet cost participation goals by securing funds for the second and sequential years of the project.
See the American Academy of Pediatrics Web site for information on obtaining an application.
